Our story

R.F. Woehrmyer Concrete Construction, Inc. was founded in 1979 in Minster, Ohio, by Ronald and Barbara Woehrmyer. The company completed approximately 30 residential foundations annually with just two other employees and none of today’s technology. The office consisted of a steel desk in the corner of the kitchen and newly purchased aluminum forms that were housed in a rented barn on a local farm.

As the early 1980s suffered the recession, so did our company. Jobs were few and the market for new homes plummeted with high interest rates. The company endured the next few years and proved to be a competitor in a growing market of consumers demanding quality products, workmanship, and honorable business practice. By 1986, the company was incorporated and purchased a second set of forms to keep up with the approximately 200 residential and commercial foundations it was completing annually. R.F. Woehrmyer Concrete Construction, Inc. was now located in a facility that previously housed a local tomato canning factory located on Ohio Street in Minster.

In 1998 the company relocated to its present location in the Industrial Park in Minster, Ohio. Employing as many as 25 people and completing as many as 200-250 foundations annually. R.F. Woehrmyer Concrete Construction, Inc. utilizes the most current practices, materials, and equipment to meet the individual needs of each of today’s discerning customers.

Throughout the years our company has continued to grow and adapt to the changing needs of our customers. In 2012 we saw a need for raising and leveling services so we set out to become experts on the matter. In 2015 we purchased our first concrete truck followed by a second in 2017. Now in 2019 we will be adding our third truck as we continue to determine what steps as a company will be most beneficial to our customers.
